Documentary
This documentary has given children the opportunity to express their point of view on cyberbullying, hate speech and social media in general, as they are often not included in conversations about it. They also do experience the problems of today’s society, so it is key to hear what they have to say. It is important for us to bring their words into the European debate to reflect on the issue and raise awareness.
The documentary is a supplement to the resources to illustrate the attitudes of young children towards the online world (6-14 years old). Nowadays technology is used from a young age, so it is important to raise awareness early on.
We have also included a Notebook to document the work throughout the process. It can be used to facilitate discussion about cyberbullying and hate speech with teachers, the school community and parents.
